Abstract | It has been conducted the studies on determination the effect of aerated sodium oleate on calcium-containing minerals floatability. As a result of the investigations showed that the aerated sodium oleate compared to non-treated oleate sodium has a positive effect on floatability of fluorite in an alkaline medium at pH = 8-9.5. The output of fluorite at optimum pH 9.0 with aerated sodium oleate was 85%, which is 4.5% higher than under the same conditions of flotation with using sodium oleate without treatment. |

Abstract | For effective separation of collective copper-lead concentrates on the individual ones and as a depressor of galena the paramagnetic material (PM) with oxidizing catalytic activity is developed. Its oxidizing ability is proved by thermodynamic calculations in standard conditions relative to various reducers and galena. The best results of copper and lead sulfide minerals depression in the process of monomineral flotation at PM presence are established only in close limits of medium рН=5,5-6,0. It is shown, that use of sodium sulfite together with PM worsens its depressing effect. It is established that the best results of selection are achieved by total substitution of ferrous sulfate and sodium sulfite for PM at galena and chalcopyrite monomineral flotation in close limits of medium рН=5,5-6,0. At application of PM in a cycle of collective copper-lead concentrate selection the content of copper in a copper concentrate in comparison with sulfite technology increases from 26,7 up to 30,8 %; the content of lead in a copper concentrate decreases from 12,7 down to 5,3 %. Copper recovery into a copper concentrate is 82,4 %. The lead content in a lead concentrate in comparison with sulfite technology increases from 43,5 up to 51,8 %; the copper content in a lead concentrate is 1,57 %. Lead recovery into a lead concentrate is 74 %. The mechanism of galena depression is a formation of sparingly soluble lead thiosulfate on its surface as a result of oxidation, thus the effect of reagents on galena decreases, therefore galena doesn’t float. |

Abstract | It is noted, that application of heating raises technological parameters at flotation of ores of nonferrous metals, improves conditions of selection one materials from others and creates favorable conditions for exception of application of high-toxic reagents such as cyanides, classified to the first class of strongly poisonous substances. Besides cyanides well dissolve noble metals (gold and silver) contained in these ores, and they are lost because of their transfer into a liquid phase at flotation. It is necessary to apply methods of catching these losses to prevention of these metals losses by various methods (sorption, extraction, etc.) |

Abstract | In order to reduce the load on the sorption redistribution, reduce the consumption of resin and the duration of the process variant of the hydrolytic precipitation of molybdenum from molybdenum-containing solutions obtained after leaching has been studied. The prospects of the sulfuric acid method of processing molybdenite concentrate in the presence of pyrolusite with obtaining molybdenum trioxide. The method includes an electrochemical treatment that enables fully remove excess soda, impurities and sulfate ions, as well as hydrolytic method for molybdenum recovery from solutions, which adequately full and selectively separating the base metal from associated. |

Abstract | In the article the results of industrial tests on processing of industrial products and recycled materials of copper and lead companies by the classical scheme agglomerating baking – shaft reduction smelting is presented. The behavior of copper and lead smelting and solid structure of the copper-lead matter and slag was studied. It has been shown that observed at the shaft reduction smelting redistribution of metals between the products of melting into the downside is closely correlated with changes in the structure of obtained copper-lead matte, which must keep in mind at metallurgical calculations. |

Abstract | In the article the results on research of modifying additions influence on the processes of sintering magnesium-silicate compositions on the basis of Kazakhstani serpentinit are presented. The combined additions of refractory clay and modifying substances decrease the sintering temperature of magnesium-silicate compositions from 1500–1600°С down to 1200-1300°С due to the formation of low-melting eutectic melts promouted condensation of the samples structure. |

Abstract | The results of studies of diffusion processes at Al and Co alloying in isothermal exposing conditions are presented. A number of regularities of diffusion zones formation in the contact area due to some peculiarities of the diffusion interaction of components are identified. Thus, the number of zones formed in the same range of studied temperatures was identical, and the distribution of elements on the chemical composition was homogeneous. The highest porosity and the most extensive contact zone are formed at 1000°C, and the diffusion regions bordering with pure Al has a maximum width at all temperatures. At the temperature 1300°C Al quantity, involved into the processes of diffusion decreases sharply from 33, 83 down to 7.31%. |
